Display homes connected to corporate systems with Meraki SD-WAN
A national home builder needed secure corporate access and reliable guest Wi-Fi at every display home. We deployed Cisco Meraki networking over Swoop NBN or 5G, linked back to NEXTDC.

Before
- Display homes across suburbs and regional centres often lacked business-grade internet.
- Sales staff needed secure access to CRM, pricing and documents hosted in the data centre.
- Visitors needed reliable Wi-Fi separated from corporate resources.
- The data centre needed a resilient, high-capacity head-end for expanding display-home coverage.
After
- All display homes connected to the corporate data centre.
- Meraki access points and MX64 security appliances at each display home.
- A high-availability Meraki MX200 pair at NEXTDC with 1 Gbps Swoop fibre.
- Separate guest Wi-Fi and secure corporate links, with same-day turn-up possible for new villages.
Make each display home work like a branch
We surveyed each display home for fixed-line availability and 5G signal quality, then selected Swoop NBN or 5G transport for its managed network link.
Cisco Meraki access points and MX64 appliances provided local connectivity and secure access back to the data centre. The redundant MX200 pair at NEXTDC supported the display-home network while guest Wi-Fi stayed separate from corporate resources.
“Our display homes now open with enterprise-grade networking from day one. Sales staff log in to the same systems they use at head office, and visitors get fast, reliable Wi-Fi.”
