24/7/365 Security Operations Center

Every threat seen. Every incident actioned.

We watch your accounts, devices, email, servers and networks around the clock — then act when a real threat appears.

Someone is watching, even when you’re not.

Attacks don’t wait for business hours. Our security team checks alerts day and night, so suspicious activity doesn’t sit unnoticed until the next morning.

Action, not another warning email.

When a threat is confirmed, we follow your agreed response plan. That can mean blocking a sign-in, removing a harmful email or isolating a device to help stop the threat spreading.

You get the facts, without the jargon.

We explain what happened, what we’ve done and what needs attention next. Clear reports help you understand the risks and make practical improvements to protect your business.

Threats arrive from everywhere.

Most attacks on Australian businesses start offshore. This live view shows the kind of source regions we see every day, converging on Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.

What happens when a threat comes in.

Security tools create noise. We turn it into a controlled response, with people and evidence behind every decision.

1. Detect

Signals arrive from laptops, computers, servers, Microsoft 365, email, identities, firewalls and cloud services.

2. Investigate

An analyst checks what is real, looks at the context and separates genuine incidents from harmless activity.

3. Contain

Affected devices, accounts, messages or connections are isolated before the threat can spread.

4. Recover

We remove the cause, restore safe access, document the event and strengthen the control that caught it.

What we watch.

An unusual sign-in, a suspicious email and a device alert are recognised as one incident — not three unrelated tickets.

Identity & Microsoft 365

Risky sign-ins, multi-factor changes, mailbox rules, token abuse and administrator activity.

Devices & servers

Malware, ransomware behaviour, suspicious scripts and software with known weaknesses.

Email & collaboration

Phishing, impersonation, malicious links, attachments and accounts that have been taken over.

Networks & cloud

Firewall events, remote access, scanning, unusual traffic and cloud security signals.

Why it works.

Human-led response

Analysts check that high-risk signals are real and follow agreed response plans rather than forwarding raw alerts.

Clear contact

Your nominated contacts get the facts, business impact and actions already taken — without security jargon.

Measurable improvement

Monthly reporting turns incident patterns into practical lock-downs, training and risk-reduction work.

Included in the Gold plan.

Questions.

Is the threat display showing real customer data?

No. The display uses realistic sample incidents to show how the service works. Customer identities, devices and incident information stay private.

Which plans include the Security Operations Center?

The Gold plan includes the 24/7/365 Security Operations Center. The Good plan includes Next Generation Managed Antivirus and 24/7/365 monitoring, but not the Security Operations Center. Call us and we'll confirm the right level for your business.

What do you monitor?

Depending on your setup: managed devices, servers, Microsoft 365 identities, email, firewalls, cloud services and security tools. Alerts are brought together so analysts see the whole story, not a stream of disconnected warnings.

Isn't antivirus enough?

Antivirus matters and we include it, but it works one device at a time and mostly catches threats it has seen before. Most break-ins begin with something no scanner flagged, like a stolen password or a convincing email. A security operations center watches everything together, around the clock, and a person decides what unusual activity actually means.

We already have Microsoft 365 and a firewall. Do we still need this?

Those are important layers, but neither is watching on your behalf. Somebody still has to read the records, spot the pattern and act at 2am. That's what this service does, using tools you already pay for.

What happens when a serious threat is confirmed?

We follow the agreed response plan: isolate a device, revoke sessions, disable an account, block a known sign of attack, remove malicious email and contact your nominated people. Every action is recorded.

Do you operate outside business hours?

Yes — 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Critical events are actioned and given priority handling according to your incident-response plan.

What about ransomware?

It's exactly what this service is built for. The encryption is stopped on the device, the machine is isolated from shared folders and servers, and we check email and Microsoft 365 to see how it got in. Tested backups give you a way back without paying.

Will we receive reports?

Yes. Plain-English reports cover incidents, actions taken, recurring risks and recommended improvements. Serious incidents are communicated immediately, not saved for the monthly report.

Does the reporting help with insurance or an audit?

Yes. Reports show what is covered, what was caught and what still needs attention — the evidence insurers, auditors and boards ask for. We can map it to the Essential Eight too.

Will this get in the way of our staff?

No. Most threats are stopped quietly in the background. If a device or account has to be locked while we investigate, we contact the person and explain what's happening.

Can you work alongside our current IT provider?

Yes. We agree up front who responds first, who can lock a device and how urgent matters are escalated, so nothing is actioned twice and nobody is left waiting.

Is this only for large businesses?

No. It suits businesses big enough to be worth attacking but too small to employ someone to watch alerts overnight.
