A large enterprise faced urgent VMware price rises and ageing on-premise infrastructure spread across three racks of physical hosts, switches, and routers. We migrated 2000 virtual servers to Microsoft Azure, consolidated the remaining office footprint to two WatchGuard firewalls, a core switch and a Metro Ethernet router, and completed the entire server migration within three months.
