Help desk, minus the hold music
Servicing businesses all over Australia.
Run through the quick checks below first. Half of all tickets are solved in under two minutes — and if they're not, you'll have exactly what we need to fix it fast.

Before you contact us
Six quick checks
Restart properly
A full shutdown and power on clears most stuck sessions. Choose Restart, not Sleep or closing the lid, and give it two minutes.
Check if it's just you
Ask one colleague to try the same thing. If it affects everyone, tell us that up front — it changes how we triage.
Test your connection
Open two different websites. If nothing loads, restart your modem and router, wait five minutes, then try again.
Check cables and power
Reseat network, power and monitor cables at both ends. Docks are the usual suspect for screens and network dropping out.
Sign out and back in
For Microsoft 365, Teams or line-of-business apps, signing out and back in refreshes an expired login token.
Install pending updates
If Windows or macOS is nagging about updates or a restart, do that first — plenty of faults disappear with it.
Step-by-step guides
Support articles for the most common issues
Each guide walks through the checks we'd run ourselves, tells you when to escalate, and lists exactly what to include in a ticket.
Accounts & access
Can't log in to your computer or Microsoft 365
Most sign-in failures come down to a typo, an expired password, an MFA prompt that never arrived, or a locked account after repeated attempts.
6 steps · 5 minutes →Internet & networking
Internet is slow or keeps dropping out
The goal here is to work out whether the fault is the wireless network, the local network, or the internet service itself.
6 steps · 10 minutes →Printing
Printer won't print
Printing faults are almost always one of four things: a warning on the device, a network problem, a stalled print queue, or the wrong printer selected.
6 steps · 10 minutes →Cyber security
You received a phishing or scam email
Do not click, do not reply, and do not forward it to colleagues.
6 steps · 5 minutes →Files & data
A file or folder is missing
Most 'lost' files were moved, renamed, or deleted into a recycle bin that still holds them.
6 steps · 10 minutes →Voice & video
Teams or video calls have bad audio and video
Call quality problems are usually wireless, a wrong device selected, or bandwidth being used elsewhere.
6 steps · 10 minutes →Devices
Your computer is very slow
Uptime, disk space and browser tabs explain most slow machines.
6 steps · 15 minutes →Accounts & access
Onboarding a new starter or offboarding a leaver
Give us at least two business days where you can.
6 steps · 2 business days lead time →Working with the help desk
What to include when you log a support ticket
A ticket with the right detail is usually resolved on the first response instead of after three rounds of questions.
6 steps · 3 minutes →Working with the help desk
What counts as urgent, and how to escalate
Urgent means the business has stopped or there is a security risk in progress.
6 steps · Phone us immediately →Websites & DNS
Change DNS for a website or move to a new host
DNS changes are the most common cause of accidental email outages, because the same zone that points your website also points your mail.
7 steps · Plan 3 business days →Voice & video
Microsoft Teams won't load, sync or connect
Most Teams faults are a stale cached session or a network problem rather than an outage.
7 steps · 15 minutes →Files & data
Request a new SharePoint site or team library
New SharePoint sites are created by us so that permissions, sharing limits, retention and backup are set correctly from day one.
7 steps · 1-2 business days →Accounts & access
Set up work email on your phone or tablet
Use the Microsoft Outlook app rather than the phone's built-in mail app.
7 steps · 10 minutes →Accounts & access
Moving multi-factor authentication to a new phone
Authenticator codes don't move across in a normal phone transfer unless cloud backup was switched on beforehand.
6 steps · 10 minutes →Accounts & access
Email isn't sending, or a message never arrived
Work out first whether the problem is your Outlook, the recipient's mail server, or a filter holding the message.
6 steps · 15 minutes →Files & data
OneDrive or SharePoint files won't sync
Sync errors almost always come down to a paused client, a file name OneDrive can't handle, a file another program is holding open, or running out of disk space.
7 steps · 20 minutes →Files & data
Share a file with a client or contractor safely
Share a link from OneDrive or SharePoint rather than attaching the file.
6 steps · 5 minutes →Devices
Setting up a new computer on your first day
Machines we supply arrive enrolled, so signing in with your work account pulls down your apps, printers and settings automatically.
7 steps · 45 minutes →Internet & networking
Working remotely and connecting to the office
Microsoft 365 works from anywhere, but anything on an office server needs the VPN or remote desktop.
6 steps · 20 minutes →Frequently asked questions
Work through the answer that matches your issue. Still stuck? Log a ticket and include what you already tried.
I can't log in to my computer or Microsoft 365. What should I try?
Check Caps Lock and that you are typing the full email address. If you use multi-factor authentication, make sure your phone has signal and the correct time. Three failed attempts can lock the account — if you think it's locked, contact us and we'll unlock and reset it rather than you retrying.
Read the step-by-step guide →The internet is slow or keeps dropping out.
Run a speed test on a cable if you can, then on Wi-Fi. If cable is fine and Wi-Fi isn't, it's a wireless issue. Restart the modem and router (power off 30 seconds), check for large uploads, backups or streaming running in the background, and note the time it started. Send us the speed test results — it saves a visit.
Read the step-by-step guide →My printer won't print.
Check the display for paper, toner or jam warnings, confirm the printer is on the same network, and try printing a test page from the device itself. If the test page works, the fault is on the computer, so restart the print spooler by restarting the PC. Tell us the device name or asset number when logging the ticket.
Read the step-by-step guide →I think I received a phishing or scam email.
Don't click links, open attachments or reply. Don't forward it to colleagues. Report it using your Report Phishing button if you have one, then contact us straight away. If you already clicked or entered your password, phone us immediately — that's an emergency, not a normal ticket.
Read the step-by-step guide →A file or folder is missing.
Check the recycle bin and, in OneDrive or SharePoint, use version history and the online recycle bin. Search by file name rather than browsing. If you can't find it, tell us the exact file name, where it lived and roughly when you last opened it — that lets us pull it from backup quickly.
Read the step-by-step guide →Teams or video calls have bad audio and video.
Switch to a cable if possible, close other apps, check the correct microphone and speaker are selected in device settings, and unplug and replug your headset. If you're on Wi-Fi and the call is poor, move closer to the access point and test again.
Read the step-by-step guide →My computer is very slow.
Restart it, check how long it's been since the last restart, close unused browser tabs and apps, and confirm you have free disk space (under 10% free will crawl). If it's still slow after a restart, log a ticket with what you were doing at the time.
Read the step-by-step guide →A new starter needs an account, or someone is leaving.
Send these requests at least two business days ahead where you can. Include full name, job title, manager, start or finish date, which systems and shared mailboxes they need, and what hardware they'll use.
Read the step-by-step guide →What information should I include when I log a ticket?
Your name and best contact number, the device name, exactly what you were doing, the full error message (a screenshot is ideal), when it started, whether anyone else is affected, and how much it's blocking your work.
Read the step-by-step guide →What counts as urgent?
Anything stopping the business: no internet at a site, a server or key system down, suspected security incident or ransomware, lost or stolen device, or payments not processing. Phone us for those — email us for everything else.
Read the step-by-step guide →What is multi-factor authentication and why do I have to use it?
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds a second check after your password, usually a code from your phone or an app. It stops most account takeovers because a stolen password alone isn't enough. If you're prompted for MFA, approve only requests you triggered yourself.
How can I tell if an email is a phishing attempt?
Look for urgency, odd sender addresses, unexpected attachments, spelling mistakes and links that don't match the real company. Hover over links before clicking. When in doubt, don't click — contact us and we'll verify it.
I clicked a suspicious link or entered my password on a fake site. What now?
Phone us immediately. Do not wait. Change your password from a known-safe device only if we tell you to, and watch for unusual inbox rules, sent items or password-reset emails you didn't request.
What makes a strong password?
Use a passphrase of at least 14 characters with a mix of words, numbers and symbols. Don't reuse passwords across sites, don't write them down, and let your password manager generate and store them. We can set one up for your team.
Why do I keep getting prompted to install updates?
Updates patch security holes that attackers actively exploit. Delaying them leaves your device vulnerable. Install updates as soon as they appear and restart when asked — we schedule most patches outside business hours to avoid disruption.
What is the Essential Eight?
The Essential Eight is the Australian Cyber Security Centre's baseline of eight security strategies: application control, patch applications, configure Microsoft Office macro settings, user application hardening, patch operating systems, multi-factor authentication, daily backups and restricted administrative privileges. We use it as the foundation for every security plan we build.
What is ransomware and how do we avoid it?
Ransomware locks or encrypts your files until a payment is made. It usually arrives through phishing, malicious websites or unpatched software. We prevent it with email filtering, endpoint protection, patching, MFA and immutable backups that can't be deleted by an attacker.
Can I plug in a USB drive or charger from home?
Only use company-approved USB drives and chargers. Unknown USB devices can carry malware or data-stealing hardware. If you need to transfer files, use OneDrive or SharePoint instead.
My work laptop, phone or tablet is lost or stolen. What do I do?
Phone us straight away, day or night. We can remotely lock or wipe the device and check whether any company data was accessed. Don't delay — the faster we act, the smaller the risk.
Why is a website or app blocked on the company network?
We block known malicious sites and risky categories to protect the business from malware, scams and data loss. If a legitimate site you need for work is blocked, log a ticket with the URL and we'll review it.
Can you help us buy and set up new laptops, screens or printers?
Yes. We supply and configure business-grade hardware including laptops, desktops, servers, storage, screens and printers. We match the gear to your workload, image it with your apps and policies, and deliver it ready to use.
Do you source software licences and office furniture too?
Yes. Our procurement service covers software licensing, Microsoft 365, security tools, cloud subscriptions and office furniture. We compare suppliers, handle ordering and keep asset records so your team can focus on work.
Our office Wi-Fi is patchy in some rooms. Can you fix that?
Yes. We survey the site, map coverage and install business-grade access points where they're needed. We also segment guest Wi-Fi from staff Wi-Fi and tune channels so you get reliable coverage across the whole office.
We need faster or more reliable internet. What are our options?
We audit your usage and budget, then recommend the best mix of NBN, fibre, Ethernet, fixed wireless, Starlink or SD-WAN. We manage the carrier, install the hardware and monitor the links so you don't have to chase telcos.
Can you host our website and manage our domain?
Yes. We register domains, host DNS, provide Australian-based web hosting and manage SSL certificates. We also handle website migrations, DNS cutovers and after-hours changes to keep downtime to a minimum.
What is a VPS and do I need one?
A Virtual Private Server gives you dedicated resources for apps, databases or custom systems that outgrow shared hosting. If you need control, guaranteed performance or a specific operating system, a VPS is usually the right fit.
Does Microsoft 365 back up my emails and files?
No. Microsoft 365 keeps deleted items for a limited time but does not provide true backup or point-in-time recovery. We offer separate Office 365 backup that protects emails, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams from deletion, ransomware and sync errors.
How do your managed services work?
Managed services give you an outsourced IT department for a fixed monthly fee. We monitor your systems, patch devices, support your users, manage security and report on performance so issues are caught before they disrupt your business.
Can you stop spam, scams and malware reaching our inboxes?
Yes. Our email protection service filters spam, phishing, malware, ransomware and business email compromise attempts before they reach your mailbox. Suspicious messages are quarantined and users get safe delivery of clean email.
What is included in your help desk service?
Our help desk covers hardware, software, Microsoft 365, email, printers, Wi-Fi, networks and line-of-business application support. Tickets can be logged by phone, email or the support portal, and we triage based on agreed response times.
Can you manage our firewalls, switches and routers?
Yes. We manage and monitor firewalls, switches, routers and wireless networks from brands like WatchGuard, Ubiquiti, Meraki, HP, Dell and Cisco. We also handle firmware updates, security rules and after-hours change windows.
Do you support cloud migrations?
Yes. We plan and execute migrations to Microsoft 365, Azure and other cloud platforms. This includes email migrations, file moves, server relocations, hybrid setups and user training so your team lands in the cloud without disruption.
What cyber security services do you offer?
We offer security reviews, Essential Eight alignment, email protection, endpoint detection, multi-factor authentication, patching, backups, data loss prevention and 24/7 managed detection and response. We tailor the stack to your risk level and compliance needs.
