What is the difference between SentinelOne Control and Guardz MDR?
SentinelOne Control is endpoint protection software that stops known threats on devices. Guardz Managed Detection and Response adds a 24/7/365 Security Operations Center that monitors endpoints, servers and Microsoft 365 identities, hunts for human-led attackers and responds to incidents on your behalf.
Is Guardz MDR included in every plan?
No. Starter and Basic include SentinelOne Control endpoint security only. The SentinelOne Control plan adds Guardz 24/7/365 MDR, Guardz Identity & Email MDR, Ironscales Complete email protection and Intune endpoint management.
Can I add Guardz MDR to Starter or Basic later?
Yes. You can upgrade to the SentinelOne Control plan at any time, or add Guardz MDR as an upgrade through your account manager.
What does 24/7/365 monitoring actually cover?
Guardz watches endpoints, servers and Microsoft 365 mailboxes and identities around the clock. When a threat is detected, the Security Operations Center investigates, isolates affected devices and works with our local engineers to restore normal operations.
What is the Security Only plan?
Security Only is our security stack without IT support, at $50 per user per month ex GST. It includes SentinelOne Complete EDR, Guardz 24/7/365 MDR, Guardz MDR for Office 365, Syncro Office 365 backup and Ironscales email protection. It suits businesses that already have IT support in place but want enterprise-grade security and backup.
